Mr. Solana - Kosova can’t wait for longer!
Since it started, almost a hundred years earlier, the Frankenstein Balkan Experiment designed and approved in the corridors of power in Paris, Berlin, Moscow, London and Rome - it had one destiny: Destruction, Genocide, chauvinism and murder.
Infamously and tragically approved then by “European Powers” the project could not have been more unnatural, unjust and unreal. It disturbed the ethnic map and the regional national make-up on the SEE and over fulfilled the bloody appetite of the chief ultra chauvinists of the south slaves: the Serbs of Karadjeordje (the Black Djordje).
Tragically against all of the Albanian struggle for independence from the Ottoman Empire and totally against the will of its people, Kosova was annexed to Serbia with open support of Russia and France.
Balkan at the end of XX century was a time bomb waiting to explode and Kosova was its trigger and its dynamite, just ticking to blow.
The little Albania which came out of the start of that very European “dirty game” was and still is: the only state surrounded by its own people who were to be oppressed, for a 100 years, under the very nose of those “standard makers”.
During the start of the XX century, against the political dreams and lifelong determination of then 93% of the albanian population of Kosova, the intrigues and secret deals of European corrupted powers, counterweighted more tragically toward the blood thirsty Serbs.
The ‘self determination’ principle which was just introduced at the Old Continent from a great president of the New World - Mr. Woodrow Wilson at the Paris Peace Conference 1919, had its application for all nations in Balkans ever since they came to exist from the ruins of the Sick Man (Ottoman Empire) but only NOT for the Albanians.
The same principle which made America gain its Independence from Britain and become USA, it is the same principle the which was forcefully and ferociously self-suited and used by most of the European Powers; the very idea which reunificated Germans at the end of the cold war, which inspired the whole Central +South Eastern Europe; the Checks, the Slovaks, the Slovenes, the Croats and even Macedonians or recently Montenegrins seems “impossible” at the down of the Balkan Nation States then and now: “to soon”, “rather early” or “not quite sure” for the pedant hypocrite “professors “ of the Old Continent from Brussels & Paris to Moscow.
Situation and the tragically injustice toward Albanian factor has not changed much of the century-arch of time at the Old Continent.
The fate and the melodrama for few Orthodox Monasteries (which are anything but Christians and who only promote hate) and Serbian villages in Kosova, for the Standard makers, is more valid then over 2 million Albanians in Kosova, which again and again, after almost 100 years of forced migration still make up more the 92 % of Kosova demographical map.
Their dreams, their lives, their burned houses, their shattered life’s, their raped mothers and sisters, destroyed families, their converted old churches to the new Serbian orthodox ones, their dignity, their schools, their language heritage etc; does not mater before the “God chosen people - the Serbs” even though when the later have come as occupators (not as Christian evangelists; NO!), ever since in the Albanian lands.
These “minor things” did not mater in March 1878 at the San Stefano Treaty, on July 1878 at Berlin Treaty, on 1913 in London, on 1914 in Paris, in Yalta, during Tito’s ruthless oppression, during the Rankovich ethnic cleansing in 1964, nor after the proclamation the Kosova’s Constitution in Kacanik 1991, not in Dayton not in Rambullet and as it seems, not much now. Nothing has changed in the heart and psyche and of the Europeans Politics. Only that the behaviour gets more sophisticated and disguised.
But some only little other things have changed; “European Troika” can no longer impose its dismissal as then. America has saved European buttocks twice (once from Hitler and once from Soviets); Europe is no more The Ultimate Centre of Political Power and Marshal Plan has long been forgotten; Even the standards have changed for some (remember Greece and Spain, we in Brussels did not mind their ‘splendid’ standards then?)
Yep! Now we are all equal before the Hague. Sometime, someone is even more equal then the others. Now the freedom is not earned, but it is ‘presented as a charitable presentation, with some Brussels chocolate sprinkles, as a God-forsaken cake.
Now we do not catch the big criminals, now we deal with the little pigs in the Balkan pond. We even pay big money for them. We ask the swordfishes in Belgrade or scorpions in Serbska Republic, to hand over the snakes so we can let the crocodiles in.
Now we have created a mirage-miracle-idea of join the big pond with chlorine & sterile waters of Brussels. If you want to be part of our double standard Club, hand over some little snakes so we can bless and welcome you in. Just for a show or theatrical gesture which later can be glossed on the tabloids or bombard our TV screens as a very European Soup Opera.
Now we advice and pamper the political leaders to do as we say (advice) but not do as we do or as we did, not long ago!
Oho No! There were other times then, when we did any thing written or unwritten in the Machiavellian books. Now it is time for standard monitoring chefs of the fake cuisine of European power-corners. Now we have cleaner costumes who spend millions doing nothing on their Kafkaesque offices in Prishtina, now we translate billions of pages in three or four obscure languages only to make the chariot heavier so the naive Balkan Leaders of Kosova can spend more time wondering about the standards just like the schizophrenics in the Frankenstein laboratories; Standards? Measures? Monitoring? ISO?, Metric System?, Square or Oval? Local or Global Electoral System? Democracy or Alienocracy? Supreme or Secondary? “Ohh! What the they mean by this?” and “Why the hell they say that, now?!”
Independence or observed independence? Milk or Semi-skimmed Milk? Cheeps or French Fries? Scrambled eggs or Yoke Eggs?
This old tragic-comical story has not ended yet for Albanians in Kosova. Its Eugene Ionesko -like drama, in Brussels script, will only get worse before it gets any better.
We now hear for ‘standards before the status’ which otherwise for a civilized observer can be translated – “the chariot before the horses of the Kosova economy” ; we listen to common jargons of the Orwellian syntax such as “12/44” for ‘UNMIK’ ‘Contact Group’ “UN Envoy”, “Chief EU Envoy” “Press Secretary of the Press Office” for ‘Brussels MP’ for EU, for TTUUEs, for FIU FIUs, for BE Representative Office, for PIU-PIUUU, or even for QIU-QIUU; in short - for everything that only the sick mind of the European Burocracy in Brussels can compose and experiment with poor Albanians in Kosova.
The Old Continent is now looking with the ‘Kosova Status Dossie’ in its hand as Hamlet at scalp of the murdered and pondering the dilemma(s):”To act or to play?” then, couple of minutes later “To wait or to go?” then again, one hour later “To delay or to postpone” following with “To promise or to lecture?” or sometimes “To delude or to show up, alla Carla Del Ponte?” coming up with moments of brilliance “Do I cover the shit here, or do I dump the corpse(s) as fare as to Moscow or Peking?” and later, when sober, even “To condemn or to let the murderer get away?
What ever the actions, which ever the pitch, we now are sure that, there will be by the same actors who will play the last act of the bloody dirty Drama which started one hundred years earlier at the back yard (once it was the heart…) of the Old Continent.
Today one thing it true and clear, Kosova’s Independence it is a historical destiny to become reality.

The tricks of Old Continent and its masters of delay and deception are still in business.
Although, today the honourable Yorkshire MP Mr Robin Cook and Britain’s finest man of the modern politics, who shaked the conscience of Europe at the end of the 20th Century, is no longer with us, his principles have confirmed one thing that the true values where the Old Continent has been founded are still as valid as ever.
The question of the questions for Albanian in Kosova now is: Will the Europe hamper, delay and betray again the freedom fighters of Kosova, or will it help to built a multiethnic healthy state? Will the whole Balkan region be enflamed again, this time catastrophically, as there will be no Rambullet Castle walls, nor cold waters of Ohrid Lake to contain and restrain the century old unstoppable will of the whole 7 million Albanians in the Balkans for freedom and justice? Which Europe are we going to see? That of the past?
Lets wait few more months. Kosova will spell its true secrets.
